Declaration of Enterprise Pollutant Discharge Permit and Post-permit Management

The Pollutant Discharge Permit is a mandatory certification document for legal pollutant discharge by enterprises, clearly specifying what pollutants can be discharged, the discharge amount, concentration, method, and destination. It also details the environmental management requirements that enterprises must implement. It serves as an important basis for law enforcement by ecological and environmental authorities.

New enterprises are required to apply for a Pollutant Discharge Permit in accordance with the “List of Classified Management of Stationary Pollution Source Pollutant Discharge Permits (2019 Edition)” and the “Regulations on the Administration of Pollutant Discharge Permits”. Existing enterprises that have already obtained a Pollutant Discharge Permit are required to regularly fill out implementation reports and handle renewals, re-applications, or amendments upon expiration, in accordance with the management requirements of the Pollutant Discharge Permit.
