China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

The industry of brake blocks and brake bands for industrial and agricultural machinery in China has gradually grown alongside the mechanization process. In the 1970s and 1980s, with the popularization of basic machinery such as agricultural tractors and industrial loaders, these brake components entered the stage of mass production. At that time, products were mainly of simple metal-based structures, focusing on basic braking functions. Since the turn of the century, industrial and agricultural machinery has been upgrading towards larger scale, heavier loads, and higher intelligence. Equipment such as mining excavators, combine harvesters, and heavy cranes have imposed stringent requirements on brake components, including wear resistance, impact resistance, resistance to high-temperature fade, and adaptability to multiple working conditions. This has driven the product material iteration from traditional cast iron to resin-based and ceramic-based composite friction materials, with structures also optimized for modularity and lightweight design. In recent years, new requirements for energy efficiency and environmental protection of brake components under the “Dual Carbon” goals have accelerated the industry’s transformation towards high-end and customized products. Currently, China has become a major global production base for brake blocks and brake bands for industrial and agricultural machinery, covering machinery types across all fields, including agricultural cultivation, mining, and engineering construction.
We have established a testing team specialized in heavy-load machinery brakes, offering customized testing services for material wear resistance, braking stability, high and low temperature adaptability, and more, based on different load levels and operating environments. Our goal is to help products achieve breakthroughs in reliability and market competitiveness.
