China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

The industry of non-metallic dynamic seals in China has gradually upgraded with the precision development of mechanical engineering. In the 1980s and 1990s, the mass production of general machinery promoted the widespread use of basic seals, primarily natural rubber O-rings and asbestos packing. These mainly addressed reciprocating or rotary sealing needs under low-speed, atmospheric pressure conditions, but dynamic sealing performance and service life were limited. Since the turn of the century, the shift towards high-speed, heavy-load equipment in manufacturing—such as in automotive engines, hydraulic systems, and wind turbine main shafts—has imposed stringent requirements on seals, demanding friction resistance, extrusion resistance, and adaptability to high-frequency reciprocation or high-speed rotation. This drove a material shift from ordinary rubber to nitrile rubber (NBR), fluorocarbon rubber (FKM), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and their composites, and a structural upgrade to efficient forms like combined seals (e.g., Glyd Rings, Step Seals) and lip seals. In recent years, high-end sectors like new energy vehicles (motor shaft seals), semiconductors (vacuum equipment dynamic seals), and aerospace (extreme environment sealing) have emerged. Coupled with evolving standards, the industry is accelerating its transformation toward “low friction coefficient, long service life, and extreme-condition adaptability.” Today, China is a leading global producer of non-metallic dynamic seals, covering all types (rotary, reciprocating, helical), and serving applications in automotive, construction machinery, new energy, high-end equipment, and more.
We have set up a dedicated dynamic sealing testing team. Based on the motion type (rotary/reciprocating) and operating parameters (speed, pressure, media), we provide customized testing services—including leakage rate, friction and wear, and fatigue life—helping to secure the sealing integrity of mechanical moving parts.
