China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

Resin matrix composites are high-performance new materials made from an organic polymer matrix reinforced with fibers (such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, etc.) through composite processes. The development of such materials originated in the mid-20th century from the urgent need for lightweight, high-strength materials in the aerospace sector. The global market for resin matrix composites is growing continuously, with North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region as the three major markets—among which the Asia-Pacific region is growing the fastest. In high-end applications such as aerospace and high-end automotive manufacturing, companies in the United States and Japan still hold a technological lead. China has become the world’s largest producer and consumer of composite materials, having established a complete industrial chain system.
As the core innovation platform of the China Building Materials Academy and CTC, the Central Research Institute has comprehensive capabilities and inherent advantages in the testing, analysis, and evaluation of resin matrix composites. It provides crucial support for the development of resin matrix composites towards higher efficiency, greater environmental friendliness, and increased intelligence.
