China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

Inorganic thermal insulation materials are porous, fibrous, or granular materials made from natural or synthetic inorganic minerals. They are characterized by non-combustibility, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and strong chemical stability. Their insulation principle relies on the internal pore structure (closed or open) to block air convection and conduction, thereby achieving thermal insulation. Organic thermal insulation materials are lightweight, porous materials made from organic raw materials such as resins, cork, and plant fibers. They feature low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, and good processability, but they have poor high-temperature resistance (generally ≤ 120°C) and are prone to moisture absorption and decay, making them primarily suitable for low-temperature insulation applications. China‘s production of inorganic thermal insulation materials increased from 3 million tons in 2016 to 4.5 million tons in 2022, with a compound annual growth rate of 5.8%, among which rock wool accounts for over 60%. Impacted by inorganic thermal insulation materials and vacuum insulation panels (VIPs), the market share of organic materials in high-end construction has dropped from 45% in 2015 to 30% in 2022, although they still dominate in low-temperature applications.
