The term “Ceramic Mosaic” comes from the transliteration of “Mosaic”, meaning inlaid craftwork or inlaid tiles. Mosaic production is one of the oldest art forms. Since mosaics are pre-assembled and pasted onto sheets of paper of a specific size for easier installation, they are also commonly known as “paper-backed stones.” Specifications, varieties, and patterns vary considerably across different manufacturers. Ceramic mosaics have a very wide range of applications. Today, new types of ceramic mosaics are widely used for high-level wall and floor decoration in hotels and hospitality venues. With the recovery of demand in swimming pools, cultural tourism, and ancient building restoration, Shaanxi’s ceramic mosaic export orders to the European Union increased by 38% year-on-year in 2025. However, there has also been an increase in batches exceeding heavy metal limits as notified by the EU RAPEX system.

The company has established the largest building ceramic testing center in Northwest China, covering an area of 3,000 m². It holds comprehensive qualifications for GB/T 4100-2015, ISO 13006, EN 14411, and other standards, issuing over 4,000 ceramic tile test reports annually.
