China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group (Shandong) Measurement and Testing Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "CTC Shandong Measurement") is located in Zhifu District, Yantai City. It is a subsidiary of China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as CTC, stock code: 603060), a central government-owned enterprise under China National Building Materials Group, specializing in metrological calibration services. In 2021, CTC completed the reorganization of Yantai Fangyuan Measurement and Calibration Company through investment and acquisition, and renamed it to China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group (Shandong) Measurement and Testing Co., Ltd. Following its development, the company now employs over 80 staff members, with technical personnel accounting for more than 60%.

The company's laboratory obtained accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) in December 2015. Its service scope covers calibration and testing in nine major metrological fields—geometrical quantities, thermal quantities, mechanics, optics, acoustics, chemistry, etc.—and eight comprehensive specialized measurement instrument areas. The company has achieved 696 CNAS-accredited calibration items and 12 testing items, totaling 708 items, maintaining a leading position within the same industry in Yantai City and across Shandong Province.

With the market goal of "covering Shandong and reaching the whole country," the company has initially established a geographic grid management within Shandong Province, leveraging its operations in Yantai-Weihai, Qingdao, Lunan, Linyi, and the Jinan division currently under preparation. Through internal coordination within the group, its business has expanded to multiple provinces and cities including Beijing, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Chongqing, Zhejiang, Liaoning, and Anhui, forming a nationwide service network. In 2025, the company achieved operating revenue of nearly RMB 20 million, with businesses in nuclear power, new energy, new materials, biomedicine, and other fields accounting for approximately 20% of the total. Strategic emerging industries have become a key growth engine for the company.

The company places great emphasis on technological innovation. It currently holds 7 software copyrights and 23 utility model patents, and has undertaken 56 scientific research projects. As one of the first calibration institutions in the province to be certified as a provincial high-tech enterprise, the company has obtained multiple qualifications and honors, including GB/T 19001-2016/ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification, membership of the Calibration Committee of China Metrology Association, recognition as a High-Tech Enterprise of Shandong Province, a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" enterprise of Shandong Province, a "Gazelle" enterprise of Yantai City, a Small and Medium-Sized Technology Enterprise of Yantai City, a Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Public Service Demonstration Platform of Yantai City, and a AAA enterprise credit rating from China Quality Mark Certification Group.
