National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Glass and Special Glass

The National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Glass and Special Glass (SAC/TC447) was established in 2008 and is currently in its third term. The Committee is responsible for the centralized management of the development and revision of national standards and industry standards in the fields of industrial glass and special glass (excluding architectural glass and automotive safety glass). The Committee comprises 55 experts from various fields across the industrial chain. Its standards system covers seven major categories: basic and general, glass for industrial and information applications, glass for household industrial use, glass for vehicles, protective glass, quartz glass, and glass for other applications. It is a core professional platform leading the high-quality development of standardization in China’s industrial and special glass industry.
